Perhaps It Was a Man, Perhaps a Worm<\/H1>

\nPerhaps it was a man, perhaps a worm\ntoo crooked to know\nwithout knowing the light\nhis feet limped across the floor\nhis body kept on tripping\n\nFalling, falling\nSeemingly always falling\nFailing, failing\nFailing in this world\n\nYet he had not known\nWhat was there help\nYet he had not known\nWhat help there was\n\nMicrogravity\nnowhere to plant ones feet\nfloating throughout space\nspace, space-time\njust another day\n\nbut not another day; a fateful decision\na guardrail emerged from the water\na guardian emerged splashed into his life\na light unto his path\na path for his flight\n\na light he had not known he wanted\nno, not wanted\na light he had not known he needed\n\nin the darkest times\nhis mouth was shut\neverything was spiraling\nout of control\nlike a black hole\nwhen he couldn't speak\n\"it was too complicated\" he would say \n\nthere was still a pillar to turn to\na pillar to look to\none that was more stable\na pillar that was more knowledgable\none that was more right\na pillar that was more credible\nit wrote the man's factory manual, after all\n<\/pre>\n

\nThe first meeting,  \nencountered in an uncommon place.  \nAroma of sandwiches and unfamiliar chatters engulfed my senses.  \n\nThe first beginning,  \nthe orange-red hued sunset,  \nstruck a string in my heart unrelated to the scenery.  \n\nAn unexpected crack in a dish,  \nthe first reassurance.  \n\nA getaway without the ones I held closest,  \none that I approached with doubts;  \nbut He took what was fostering and solidified the spark,  \nthe first chapter.  \n\nThe Lord's love comes slow and powerful like the wave,  \nit comes overwhelmingly when it is not expected,  \nyet the outcome is breathtakingly beautiful.\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
