For some reason I forgot to post a lot of my aesthetic translations of psalms. Here’s one. <\/p>\n
\nExtol Yahweh with all my breath ---\n His glorious uniqueness with all my being.\n\nExtol Yahweh with all my breath,\n Recalling all the good he has done me.\n\n\nHe forgives all my perversity.\n He heals all my diseases.\n\nHe buys me back from death.\n He crowns me with faithful love and mercy.\n\nHe fills me full with delightful trinkets of goodness.\n My youth is renewed like an eagle.\n\nYahweh always does right ---\n Justice to all who are wronged.\n\nHe showed his ways to Moses;\n His exploits to the sons of Israel.\n\n\nYahweh is compassionate and gracious.\n His anger rises slowly; His faithful love overflows.\n\nHe doesn't constantly complain\n Or hold a grudge.\n\nHe doesn't pay us back for our offenses;\n Or punish us as we deserve for our evil deeds. \n\nAs lofty as the heavens above the earth ---\n So great his faithful love toward those who fear him.\n\nDistant as east from west ---\n So far he removes our crimes from us.\n\n\nAs a father pities his children,\n So Yahweh pities those who fear him.\n\nBecause he knows how we are made.\n He remembers that we are only dust.\n\nA man's days are like grass;\n He blooms like a flower in the field.\n\nThe wind blows over it and it's gone.\n Its place no longer knows it.\n\nBut the faithful love of Yahweh \n Is from everlasting and to everlasting\n To those who fear him.\n\nHe does nothing but good to the children's children\n Of those who cling to their agreement with him.\n And remember to do as he instructs.\n\n\nYahweh has placed his throne in the heavens\n And his kingdom rules all.\n\nExtol Yahweh, you mighty messengers\n Who do what he says,\n Obeying the voice of his word!\n\nExtol Yahweh, all his armies,\n His servants, accomplishing his delight!\n\nExtol Yahweh, all he has made\n In all places he rules!\n\nExtol Yahweh with all my breath!\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"For some reason I forgot to post a lot of my aesthetic translations of psalms.
