The Great Capacitor Caper #5

This story was inspired by a series of events involving bad capacitors over a period of many years, culminating in my fixing a monitor that had several capacitors go bad as described in this story.

Soon I was back at Miss Trouble’s apartment. “I don’t think you’ll have any more trouble with this,” I said with a twinkle in my eye. We hooked up the box and turned it on. A pleasant beep came from the box as it booted. Soon it was up and running.

“Thank you so much!” said Miss Trouble. She looked into my eyes. Hers shone with gratitude. Yeah, I really do love this job.

Now I won’t say that I never had any more trouble from Miss Trouble. But it wasn’t all that long before Trouble wasn’t her name any more. But for some reason people did start calling her Blunt.
