Greetings to Readers!

Hello all you readers out there! I know you are out there, because my logs show lots of downloads of posts. Yeah, you can run but you can’t hide.

Actually the logs that I see don’t reveal any personal information, just IP addresses that I can’t trace without going through service providers — probably with a warrant. So your anonymity is safe. Well, at least safe from me. (NSA — the branch of government that listens….)

Anyway I’m writing this because if it weren’t for the logs, I would think that almost nobody reads my stuff. So … not a demand, or a threat or anything … but if you were to drop a comment to say that you managed to read one of my posts to the end, that would be encouraging to me. Basically the only comments I get are from people who say, “I liked your post” and then include a bunch of links to sell diet pills or beachfront property or some other unsavory scam.

I’m also thinking of expanding into other media, such as podcasts or vlogs. It’s a LOT easier for me to write than to do those, but people have pointed out to me that these days audio and video are more accessible to people. Yes, it’s becoming a post-literate world. I have to change with the times. Learn new tricks. Maybe shave my beard….

If you read my stuff and think you might enjoy vlogs or podcasts, let me know — in a comment to this post!

Thanks to everyone who reads whether you comment or not. I do this for Jesus, and hope that he uses it, so I don’t need to see comments. But it would be encouraging to get some feedback.

  1. Hey Fred, I’ve read quite a few of your posts. I usually enjoy them, even if I don’t understand them most of the time. Keep writing! I’m not a big fans of podcasts and vlogs, I’d much rather read your stuff.

  2. So you’re interested in beachfront property? There’s a lovely ocean villa with an infinity pool and easy access to a pharmacy full of diet pills, available now for the low price of $10 million! You should jump on the deal before it’s gone!
